Warehouse (WMS)
Warehouse management: receiving, picking, bin locations
A warehouse that knows where things are: receiving and put-away by bin, wave picking, shipping, transfers and stock counts with discrepancies. A stock figure stops being a number in a table — it has a location, a lot and an expiry. The system does not replace physical work: the storekeeper receives and ships, while documents, reconciliation and the hint about which bin to free fall to the system. Needed once the warehouse is more than one room.
